Kaun Banega Crorepati (Who Will Become a Millionaire in this section 2019 also simply known as KBC) is an Indian television game show based on the British programme Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? KBC premiered on 3 July 2019 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, his first appearance on Indian television. KBC initially offered contestants the chance to win 1 Crore Indian rupees. The season ended in 2019. The show was well received in its premiere season.
